Consider the True TSX

The M50 is a nice compact machine, and on the plus side it looks less bulky than the True TSX. However, I would definitely give them both a try before purchasing either one. The ergonomics of the center drive machines are biomechanically superior, keeping your body in a natural positioning. The motion is smooth, but not as smooth as on the TSX model, which just feels more stable than the M50. I think you get a lot for the difference in price. I would say the True ellipticals are the best series of equipment, and if you don't need an adjustable stride either the M50 or TSX are great choices, but if you can swing the extra $$'s, go for the TSX.I think the cushion ed footbeds on the M50 as opposed to the M30 make a big difference in comfort.The side steps allow for isolating an upper body workout and is a great feature, well incorporated into their Mix3 workout.

I was looking for an affordable elyptical that would last me for a number of years. I think I've found it. It appears quite well made and I can see no flaws in its design or workmanship. It's pretty quiet and has a good feel. I wanted an elyptical to have in the bedroom so I could spend 30-40 minutes on it when getting out of bed while watching the Today Show, before heading into the office. I get an excellent workout in a short time and I think it's going to be an easy habit to get into. The electronics are rather basic, but for the price, it's great!
