So quite I can hear a pin drop

This machine is so quiet I don't even wake my husband up at 5:30 am using it - with the TV on. My entire experience has been stellar with Smooth Fitness - from the initial inquiry my husband had using the 800#, the delivery options and the quality of the machine. My husband wanted to get a piece of equipment that wouldn't rock the house when using and feared after reading many reviews on-line that cheaper machines (from other competitors) were less stable and required maintenance after a short time. This model provides the look and feel of a gym quality machine for home use. When I show it off to friends they can't believe it didn't cost a lot more. Even the delivery men that brought this to my home were professional and courteous. They took their shoes off upon entering the home and even moved rugs under the box so not to scratch my wood floors. I love my Smooth Fitness CE-80LC - it inspires me to get up early and start my day with a sweat session. Heck - I just finished using it a few minutes ago! This machine is awesome - worth the investment.

I ordered from the Smooth website which was a plus as you get free shipping and they even threw in a exercise mat free of charge with my order, ordered back in May 2011 and couldn't be happier with my purchase. It was very easy to put together and with the free curbside delivery I was concerned about getting it into my garage as the delivery men came around 7am and my help wasn't available until later that day, but the men took the elliptical into my garage for saving me the hassle of having to wait for my help hours later and leaving it on the curb which is what I expected. The machine is built like a tank and is used everyday by my wife and she loves it, no complaints.

Bang for your exercising buck

My wife and I decided a few months ago to purchase an elliptical trainer for home use. I had never heard of Smooth Fitness, but their name kept coming up in my research as a great value. They get outstanding customer reviews, offer the best warranty in the industry, and pricing is about half of Precor and other top brands. Sounded like a no brainer to me.We've both been using this trainer several times a week, and could not be happier. The build quality is excellent, and operation lives up to the `Smooth' name.A couple ordering tips: This is shipped in one LONG and HEAVY box, so you definitely need help getting it into your house. It's fairly easy to assemble, though. It took me about 2 hours, and I'm not the greatest handyman.I'm a believer in "you get what you pay for." In this case, compared to Smooth Fitness competitors, you get a lot more than you pay for.
